review 1: I would never recommend this for teens EVER. Too didactic and somewhere along the lines of Lord of the Flies meets the Hunger Games but somehow darker and incredibly morbid. The title is misleading and may lead a female reader to believe this is a story about a female heroine. Yay! A girl who owns a city? Sounds wonderful! Wrong! Lisa is narcissistic and self centered...a detestable "heroine" if that is what you would like to call her.
review 2: When all the people in the world over 12 turn to dust it leaves the children to fend for themselves. Enter 10 year old Lisa, a smart and forward thinking leader looking

Well Lisa is not going to put up with this so she goes around the neighborhood and organizes a militia while fortifying their houses. As they announce the new city to the world the gangs get into the picture and try to take over... less
