This was a good one. Angel is a police officer in the same department as her Dad. While on a call of a robbery at a pharmacy, she chases suspects and has to shoot a 12 year old who points a gun at her. The investigation into the shooting is delayed because all the evidence is stolen from the police evidence room! It keeps you guessing and has lots of action, family and an Italian mom who loves to cook. It was an enjoyable read.
ugh. i picked this for a dose of mystery, NOT a sermon. strike one. and everyone is falling in love @ first sight?? including a serial proposer?? please! strike 2. and i love a nice thick book with lots of detail and description...but this felt like we went through after the fact and added useless adjectives to every noun just to add pages...strike 3. won't be moving on to anything else by this author.
