review 1: Kizzy Taylor has had a rough start. Her father tried to kill her but instead killed her brother. It is now months later and her friends are trying to help her get on with her life minus that destructive streak. They join an Urban exploring group and decide to explore an abandoned hospital. Then things get really weird. A vortex opens up and Kizzy’s step-sister gets sucked in. What is worse is a nasty little goblin gets kicked out and goes on a rampage.Kizzy is a portal key. She has the ability to open portals to the different realms in the universe. With the help of her friends and strange Rom, she has to go save her step-sister and keep a prophecy about all the worlds collapsing from happening. This is a great story. The characters are so believable. I felt so bad for Ki... morezzy. I understood where her bad attitude came from but I was cheering for her and all she does to save the day. Rom is interesting and I really liked the romance aspect that was not over done.I have to say that this is one story, although geared toward young adults, anyone will like. I will definitely be reading more from PR Mason.I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
review 2: Disclaimer: I won this book on Goodreads.Ahh. This book.I couldn't stand it. The beginning chapter/section was flawless. This was when the main character's father points a gun at her. Her brother dies instead of her. I felt no remorse what so ever. I felt it was just there for dramatic effect. It didn't at all change me.And please don't get me started on the character "love interest". THE DIALECT. OMG. No one speaks like that. I know it was supposed to be something new and different, but it made me cringe every time he said something. The only person I like was the main character. She was spunky, independent, and different. I wish she had brought things to the story, but sadly this book will always be too flat for me.I wish I could of liked this book, but sadly I didn't.Thanks for sending me this book though, I really appreciated it. less

It was okay. Seemed a little fast toward the end.
