review 1: This book could be pretty good if the author went back in a changed a few things. I started to get very annoyed by the characters and the writing style less than 1/3 of the way through the book. By the time I was near the end of the book I was struggling to finish it. Here are a few things I think need to be addressed to make it an easier read:1) Please use pronouns. I know the characters names and don't need to be reminded multiple times a paragraph. Giselle did this, Giselle said that, this landed on Giselle. It gets very annoying, very quickly.2) Please combine sentences. The use of short sentences makes it read very choppy.3) I know this happens with electronic books often, but misplaced quotation marks can be confusing.4) The over use of phrases was frustratingly anno... moreying. I got tired of hearing things like, "Ren, or was it Field" every time she mentioned those two characters. Those are just my suggestions to make it an easier read, now on to the story itself.I liked the premise of the story, but there was just too much going on. Every time something else went wrong for Giselle I found myself rolling my eyes. How many times can something bad happen to one person over a weekend? There was just too much going on that I felt like there wasn't enough time spent on character development. Giselle goes the Savannah in search of a ghost so she doesn't lose her job as a writer. She meets a private detective with a very mean mother. All kinds of crazy things happen to her as someone tries in vain to kill her. Will I read this story again? Absolutely not. Will I suggest it for someone else to read? Nope, not a chance. I do hope the writer perfects her writing technique so it doesn't sound so juvenile. I'm not sure if I would give her writing another chance to find out though.
review 2: Oh my! I have not had this much fun reading a book in a while! Gisele is a reporter and she needs to find a ghost for her story. She keeps bumping, literally into Ry. She knocks him down, spills drinks on him and that's just the first night. The mad cap adventures take her on a phony ghost tour, a date with a skunk who thinks he is an artist, a bad run in with a psychic and a crazy nude guy. I have to say I chuckled all the way thru this book. less

Went on a little too long, but very humorous story.

OK story, but more romance than mystery.
