review 1: I received this book for free off of Goodreads givaways and honestly, this book is not meant for me solely off of the fact that I'm not a Stewardship and have no intent on ever becoming a stewardship. But briefly reading through it, I did find the book was well-written, well-organized, with a lot of good advice, and would be great for anyone who has a job through that line of work. Unfortunately, that person is not me.
review 2: Block makes an argument for a democratic form of business governance. He slams the patriarchal approach where all of the power and judgement resides in the upper sections of a corporation or public entity. He believes that most of the practices in corporations sap employees of ownership of the results and the processes for achieving the... morem.The case is an intersting one and worth considering. It will certainly not go uncontested, but it is worth the debate. less
