review 1: This book is caught between fact and fiction. The more I read, the more I believe that this probably actually happens and willed my mind to hope that it wasn't. Lynn's daughter is dying of liver disease and is on the list for a donor. A private agency is found who can provide the liver for a large sum of money but immediately with excellent hopes for a new life. However the source of these "donations" is severely in question and is being investigated by the local police when dead bodies keep turning up with all their organs missing. An excellent read which would make for a good book group meeting.
review 2: This book was probably my least favorite in the series. It took me a while to warm up to the premise and the characters. Also, way to many random coi
... morencidences took place enabling Roy to figure out what was going on. Like when he sees a car drive down the road and decides randomly to jot down the license plate number. I mean, that was a bit far fetched and there other instances like that. However, it picked up and ended up being a decent, but far from spectacular, book. less
