review 1: I had so many issues with this book. I guess I'll list the few pros first- the world building was nice and original and it's narrated by a guy, which you don't see too much in YA. That's pretty much all I liked about it. From the beginning I got the feeling that the writing was stunted and voiceless. All of the characters, excluding the main character and his dad, were unrealistic. Real people aren't that 2D. Despite everything, I was going to give it 3 stars until I read the last 20 pages. I mean, it was easy to get through and somewhat enjoyable up to this point. But then his "werewolf" voice starts talking and it sounds completely stupid. And that horrible decision he made at the end infuriated me...I haven't read a book I didn't like this much in a w... morehile.
review 2: This novel was my first, I am from Dubai and English is my second language, I found this novel simple and exiting, it has easy for me to understand every single detail without skipping any parts, and I understood its concept, it was based on a great idea, I loved the way the author thinks, and I believe that this novel was ended in a way that in case it was successful, they will publish another volume, and if not, it will have a convenient ending. Do You Agree? *Please excuse my language..* less
