January TBR

Welcome to January everybody!

New Year, New BOOKS.

So this year, I will be taking part in “Beat The Backlist”, a reading challenge hosted by NovelKnight in which we aim to read all of those books that have been sat on the shelf for too long. In my case, it includes far too many books to count…

Which is why, in January, I will be making my way through some of those books I’ve been wanting to read for quite some time.

So without further ado, here is my TBR for January:

Sky Song by Abi Elphinstone

An exception to the backlist challenge, this is actually a brand new 2018 release children’s book that I’m reading for work… Hopefully it’ll be nice and quick so I can move on to the other books, but I’m really enjoying what I’ve read of it so far!

A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab

It’s time for me to face the fact that this trilogy will end and that bad things will happen… am I ready? Probably never, but I can’t put it off any longer!

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones

I swear this has been on my TBR posts several times now, so I WILL read it this month! Especially now because the sequel, Shadowsong, will be released at the end of the month.

Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

Balancing out the chunky books with a nice collection of short stories set in my favourite world, the Grishaverse, by the ever wonderful Leigh Bardugo. I can’t wait to read this.

What are you planning on reading this month? Let me know in the comments below!
