review 1: I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever been confused by what it means to "hear God in your heart" or "find God's will for you life" or other things that people in the church say all the time but never explain exactly how you are supposed to do these things. Even if you don't agree with the author's opinions on the topics it will still help to clear up a lot of misconceptions if you read and consider his point of view. This book really helped me figure out a lot of things that I've always found confusing about being a Christian.

He implores preachers to focus on Christ instead of telling people ... morehow to live like Christians. Best part of the book: “the best way to help this bride get prepared for her Beloved is precisely to tell her about the Beloved...if you take up her time telling her how to live like a good bride, she’ll get bored and…anxious…But if you tell her about her Beloved, his beauty and glory, his love for her and his mighty deeds…her love for him is renewed”.
