review 1: It has been a while since I finished any book in one day. But after started reading ‘Prakashvata’ I wasn't able to stop reading it and finished it in one sitting. While very much a reality, it’s like an adventure story of a group of people trying to overcome the utmost challenges to achieve something that defines us as human. And that is compassion for others and urge to do something good beyond satisfying the basic necessities of our own self. While Baba Amte and his work is very much familiar, I am ashamed to say that I wasn't much aware of Dr. Prakash and Manda Amte, the Lokbiradari Prakalp or Hemalkasa. So much so that the book has been sitting at my home since more than a year. But I am glad that I finally got to read it and to know more about the work, the ch... moreallenges and achievements of these group of men and women. It makes you wonder how you define leading a life which is fulfilled and worth living for. I recommend this book for everyone and especially our children (I need to get an English Copy).
