review 1: Preeti should write poetry.Her work is unnecessarily descriptive in places that don't need anything. The book title is so misleading. The list is only mentioned twice in the book which seems weird.While the protagonist does deserve her break, she seems way too whiny. How does someone FINALLY trust someone and let off steam after 15 years? What suddenly brought about this change? A simple conversation?The concept had so much potential, it just wasn't properly executed.
review 2: This book was just ok. A look at the life of a housewife who is fed up with the way her life is turning out and trying to do something about it. This was written in the present tense, which is something I don't like in novels. One thing I didn't like reading much was the way the protagon... moreist doesn't speak up about what's bothering her and what's wrong. There are several times when she could've stood up for herself, but she didn't. I suppose that people are different and have different ways of doing things and the author is just telling the story of the protagonist of this book, but it doesn't make me enjoy reading about it any more than I do. less
