review 1: I enjoyed The Kissing Tree for what it was: a fluffy, clean, romance novel. I did get a bit annoyed, however, about a few things. For one thing, there are way too many story lines. The author should have picked a few plot lines and left it at that. The bank robbery plot especially could have been left out. Plus, the story would often randomly switch narration to a minor character, which was a little jarring. Entertaining, but not as well written as I'd have hoped.
review 2: This was a really sweet, clean romance. I loved Georgiana and Ridge's childhood crush, and how it grew when she returned. I also appreciated that the author painted Dawson in a good light and it wasn't difficult to love him either. I think that too often we like to paint the 3rd party, wh
... moreen it's obvious who the main character should belong with, as being terribly flawed, but the author didn't go that cliche route. It's an easy and enjoyable read. less
