review 1: If I have to review this manga as a whole, I have to say to say it is pretty acceptable, nothing extraordinary or amazing. Again the characters were rather flat and the plot was a bit dull and meaningless, but since it is base from Alice in Wonderland you can't expect much. I like the twists and turns that the plot had at some points. This final book has an open ending and it is a bit confusing, I guess is not a huge spoiler if I say that it was all a dream for dear poor Alice. The art style is not something I have to complain about, it is neat, clean, pretty, and with many bishonen, if that's your sort of thing ;)It is whole a rather acceptable retelling of Alice in Wonderland with its own Japanese twists.
review 2: This lacked a little of the luster of the pr... moreeceding two volumes of the trilogy. The drawing seemed hastier and, dare I say, lazier, which detracted from the previously lush escape into the Country of Hearts. Also, either there were some continuity problems, or my memory fails me. When did relations between Alice and Blood, which were always flirtatious—albeit with an edge—become so sour? As for the conclusion, I go back and forth between thinking it profound and thinking, as Detective Arbogast said, "If it doesn't jell it isn't aspic, and this ain't jellin'!" This involves one of the significant denizens of the Country of Hearts, and possibly represents another continuity issue (or possibly makes perfect, deeply insightful sense), but I'll not give it away. Still, an enjoyable read and an enjoyable series. less
