review 1: This was a lovely read. I was there with the seals on the island. The plot is not complicated, no extreme twists and turns. Its all done and tied up with neat precision. Roddy and Kate are different people who have the same loves, interests and outlook for life. Its that commonality that draws them to one another. But the timing isn't right several times just like reality and so they still look for each other. I guess the only thing that brings them together is having an island of people rooting for them to be together which is so unlike real life. But overall this is a good read. The imagery is vivid and descriptions well crafted. Rachel does a good job on this one.

... moreey went through all that and it got all fixed with a 1 minute conversation? Not to mention the fact that they hadn't yet admitted anything, the heroine was just explaining that she didn't have anything going on with anybody else and then she just all of a sudden says 'I love you!' And the hero basically just says 'ditto' and then they start mentioning grandchildren?! HELLO!!! They didn't even KNOW each other as a COUPLE and they jumped from ONE kiss, to misunderstandings for MONTHS, to saying they didn't have any other relationships, to GRANDKIDS! And like, you know, the ROMANCE part in the romance novel? less
