OH. MY. FUCK.

I honestly do not even know where or how to start reviewing Monster! It’s absolutely INFUCKINGSANE!! If you have not read Animal (book 1 of this duet), please go and read it now so you can be prepared for Monster. Since I have NO CLUE on how to even write this review without giving away bits and pieces of information that may help you figure things out quicker and spoil it for you. I am just going to jot my thoughts and feelings of the shit that was going through my head and heart as I read Monster.

As I opened to the first page I was giddy with excitement because it’s been some time since I have read Animal and that book was a complete mind-fuck!

Oh you know… just 7% into it and a bomb dropped. I don’t even know why I was surprised! I mean, this author has messed with my mind pretty badly in Animal so why the hell was I expecting anything less?

I’d wiped her blood on my chest, my hands, and I’d made sure it got under my nails. I’d come on a pool of it. And I loved every fucking second.

So, after reading that line… I started going on a rampage. Messaging friends about how crazy shit is already getting. Do you have any fucking idea how hard it is to talk about a book without giving away a damn thing but it was just too much to keep bottled up because, let’s face it… I still had 93% left of the book at this point!!!!

As the story progresses, all your questions in Animal are answered at a devious pace in Monster that will leave you craving for the next page.

I went through all emotions reading Monster – I was stunned, anxious, hoped and too many times recoiled from the words my eyes just touched and boy oh boy was I in denial. Worse of them all, I started doubting my sanity!! So what else is there to do but dive in deeper, right?!

Be warned, as you think it cannot get any worse – spoiler alert (not really) – IT FUCKING DOES!

Monster is seriously on a new level. It’s twistedly, disturbingly, ridiculously, out of this world crazy!! The author has perfected the art of leaving her readers gasping for air.
