review 1: This series is hilarious, starting with the first book, where Josie gets caught up in a celebrity wedding through a bridesmaid lotto that she didn't even enter. She gets to meet Jake Hall, one of the grooms and a movie star, and they fall in love. In the second book, things get complicated, and the relationship is strained. By the third book, Josie isn't sure if she will even get her happily ever after.I picked up the first book, Bridesmaids Lotto for free. I don't normally read contemporary romances (preferring historical and paranormal), but this series was so funny and well written that I had to purchase the set after the first hooked me in.
review 2: These books were quick and cute reads that had me laughing at parts. However, it is clearly unedited, or bar
... moreely so and doesn't flow very well! There are a lot of sporadic thoughts that have little or no relevance and could have been left out of the story. This book is the opposite of subtle, but not really in a good way! Instead of painting the picture of the emotions you should feel, you're told how to feel pretty directly. Again, I was obviously interested in the it enough to read all 3 books, but the writing style and train of thought needs a lot of work. less
