review 1: Ah, Amelie. She's such an ambiguous character. Amelie is hard to read. So you spend a lot of time hating her, then liking her...before hating her again. Oliver, however, I just can't stand. He grates on my nerves and annoys the hell out of me.This was a nice, short tale showcasing the struggle between Amelie and Oliver. As well as her own inner struggle. She's awesome at being the Ice Queen in front of everyone, but there's so much more to this enigmatic vampire.Another great shortie!
review 2: Amelie's Story is a short story in The Morganville Vampires Series by Rachel Caine. This short story is Amelie's story and told from her point of view and is very short. Amelie has retrieved the book and she discusses her protection over Michael, Eve, Claire, and Shane.... more Oliver points out that Shane 's mother was immune to mind control and they need to keep an eye on him. Amelie shows us that she cares for the teens in the Glass house more than she lets on. less
