review 1: oh i like this book!This book has successfully balancing between romance and sport theme.really love everycharacter in this book, everyone has their own "coolness". Love how Ty being so realistic and logic yet still turn out to be a romantic. And i am surprissed with the thoughfullness and coolness that shown by Faith's mother. At first i think she'll because an antagonist in this book, someone to hate for, but turn out she's just become herself. another great reading material ;)
review 2: As all the other books in Chinooks Hockey Team series, True Love and Other Disasters was an enjoyable read filled with hockey action and sexy times. One of the standouts was definitely the heroine, Faith. Her past as a stripper and a Playboy playmate doesn't speak too highly ... moreof her (not to mention the fact that she married a very old man for money), but through out the book she manages to win as over. I like her honesty and strength and the fact that she stands behind her past choices, even though they aren't the most moral. I also really like the chemistry between the main leads and their sexual tension, which is really exciting especially at the beginning of the book, when they aren't the biggest fans of each other. I would appreciate a bit longer and more passionate conclusion, but overall is liked how their relationship progressed.I was also really excited about the little Jane cameo :) One of the things I really like in book series is, when a past character (or characters) make appearance in a new book.There were also a few things I didn't really like (or didn't really care about), like Faith's mom or her dog, who just didn't do anything for me, but overall it was an interesting and enjoyable read. less
