Dusty Deals Mystery
review 1: Loose Screw (Dusty Deals Mystery Series) by Rae Davies and Lori Devoti. The heroine captivated me right from the start—a cool woman with enough quirks to keep her interesting and not enough to make her annoying. The mystery was fun and I suspected everyone in turn of being the killer and was pleasantly surprised at the end when we discovered who and why. The setting was new to me and I like learning a little bit when we are out there tracking down murderers (when I am safe in my bed, of course). I enjoyed the story very much, and I look forward to reading more of this series.

On the other hand, it was really good to read a book where the main character has a pet but doesn't leave it alone all the time and most of the book we don't see it or hear about it. Lucy took good care of her Kiska and although he didn't have a lot to do with the plot, he was always around. less
