review 1: I enjoyed the story about the ancient Egyptians but I didn't enjoy the overarching story of the archeologists. I didn't feel that story line was written as well as the other. There were portions of the story that seemed to be left hanging and didn't really tie well into other parts of the story. I kept expecting a bit more. While I realize there is a sequel to this - it didn't draw me in enough to want to read the sequel.
