review 1: Sigh,,,,after 5 books, this story comes to a close and I am so darn sad about it! I think I have a Blackstone hangover! In this book-Ethan and Brynne come full circle! What I like? It's not just a happily ever after for these two! Both still fighting their demons while trying to get ready for the next step in their relationship! I enjoyed the dates in each part that reminds us that these 2 haven't even been connected for a year yet! This is a great close to this story and I'm seriously going to need get over this before I pick up another book! Ethan just has a way of staying with you when the book is over!
review 2: When I first heard Raine Miller was doing a 4th Blackstone book, I wasn’t sure why. I was happy where Eyes Wide Open ended. Granted I didn’t kn... moreow what the baby was but I was ok with that. But let me just say I’m so glad she did write Rare and Precious Things. I LOVED this book. Rare and Precious Things went more in depth to Ethan’s issues from the war. It went more in depth to where Brynne is after her horrific attack. It just went more in depth. And I also got to find out what the baby is. But you won’t find out from me if it’s a he or a she. You’ll have to read it yourself. This book helped to fill in some information left out in the other 3 books. It also wrapped up there series in a perfect way. But did it wrap up the series? Maybe, maybe not. Raine did mention in the end, never say never. I can’t say much in this review, without giving away the series. But I will say, this is a must read series. Each book gets better and better.~Katie less
