review 1: Picked it up only because an unread book on my shelf wouldn't let me rest in peace. It took me less than two hours to skim through the whole of its incoherent content. The fact that authors like Ravinder Singh find their place among best-selling authors brings to light the pathetic state of Indian literature today. A string of ill-narrated diary entries woven into a 'novel', which also sells across the country. Wow.If authors like Ravinder Singh could place focus on the quality of writing and the impact their words would have on the reader and not solely on filling in a few pages and publishing them under their name, the state of light-reads in here wouldn't be half as pathetic.
review 2: I honestly wish i had an unread button somewhere over here. If there was
... morea zombie apocalypse and i was the last man on earth with nothing to read but this book, I still wouldn't read it again. I know i shouldn't make such an absurd comparison but, if writers like Shakespeare, Sidney Sheldon, Stephen king and Agatha Christie were all inclined to write only about their own life and how they were molested as a child, we wouldn't have acquired such amazing plays and novels. A novel is something which must communicate with readers and play with the emotions of the masses. If this is all Ravinder Singh can write about, i think he needs some honestly reviewing on his works. And he must pay me back the money i have to spend on years of therapy for the brain damage he has caused me. less
