review 1: Rayven has penned a very intriguing story about love, loyalty and betrayal. I was pulled in from the first page and thrown head first into the story. Milk is the smooth hustler from VA who has the money, looks and respect most hustlers dream of. But of course with all that there always is drama and secrets. Sabrina is Milk's girlfriend, who, despite the business he's in, loves him unconditionally. As the story goes on, you become a part of all the lies and secrets involved in this VA city. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to everyone who loves never ending drama. The ending left me wanting to find out what happens so I'm sure there's a Part 2 in the making. Good job Rayven.
review 2: A Rumble in V.A. is one of my first urban fiction read(s). It started well... more and held my interest throughout, enough that I finished it over a long weekend. Clever plot leads to an explosive ending as we follow "Milk" and his turbulent relationship with his girlfriend turned wife Sabrina through the Tidewater of VA. Lust, betrayal, invalid truths, greed ... it's all about the takeover.If love is blind then lust has twenty/twenty vision. less
