2. Johnny Gill’s “Lady Dujour” is such a cold ass jam. Like you can’t use a condom while listening to it.
3. I finally finished Old Records Never Die by Eric Spitznagel and it made me face so many things about myself. First, if you loved the movie High Fidelity then this book will be right up your alley. It’s a story of man that tries to reconnect with his past but realizes through a variety of misadventures that the best things in life were yet to come. But he had to go back to figure out that things change and it’s better let go (which is what I’m trying to be better at as the years progress). And he does all of that via record collecting. Quite the read.
4. Just know that Stackztootrill’s “Juice” is a confidence anthem for me. Hmm, I may have to create a Confidence playlist.
5. Karma is real. Abide by the Golden Rule (“Do unto others as others would do unto you”) because if you bring negativity to the doorstep of one person best believe it can come back to you tenfold. Don’t be a dick if you can help it.
6. Political Correctness has made the world less fun. And yes it has it’s benefits but it also gives the green light for some people to nitpick at EVERYTHING imaginable. “Oh I love Crunch Berries but the shape of the Cap’n’s hat is PROBLEMATIC!” Yeah…
