review 1: This was another enjoyable book in the trash-n-treasures mystery series. In this one, Brandy, as engaging as ever, is continuing to live with her diabetic dog and bipolar mother in her home town and uncover secrets, to everyone's chagrin, including her sister's. When a fellow dealer dies and his Cockney-talking lower class niece is framed for the murder, Brandy and her mother leap in where angels fear to tread to find out the real killer, whose secret lies in the long distant past. At this rate, there won't be many people left in the town who haven't been killed or named killers!
review 2: Well, I did think it was number one of the series when I took it out of the library but it was easy to get into even though it is number three. I loved the idea that it took ... moreplace in Iowa, lots of easy to recognize places, and people. The names seemed familiar too and I had never noticed that they are different from names in most books. The story was a little different and interesting. I would read the next book if only the library had it. less
