review 1: This was another exciting Jade Calhoun book. I loved seeing Jade and Kane starting off as a team in this book. They work well together, and definitely make each other stronger. In true Jade Calhoun fashion, nothing in this story is plain or simple. The obstacles and drama that I have loved in all the other books, continue in this one. However, this one has some new characters and supernatural beings, and it was awesome! It was very cool to see the worlds of all the different types of supes collide and how they affect each other. Very creative! Jade has gotten very powerful as the series has progressed, but this book really shows how some of the others have evolved as well. They are very improtant to Jade and her success. The story is non-stop excitement, and I can't wait t... moreo read the next book! I have a feeling this one laid down one heck of a groundwork for the next one. I love this series!
review 2: Maybe I'm just getting bored with this series? I couldn't believe how many eye roll moments I had with this book. I hate that Jade talks about being independent and not needing Kane then the next four pages are her going on and on and on about how much she misses and needs him with his cinnamon flecked eyes and musky rain scent. Seriously? At any rate if you're wasting away in an alternate dimension try to be patient it'll take some time for everyone to get out of their bedrooms. Boring. less
