In keeping with the season, here’s one of Aiden’s favorites from last Halloween.
Goodnight Goon by Michael Rex
Rex’s book is, as you can imagine, a parody of Goodnight Moon. It is the tale of a young boy wishing goodnight to his monster friends in his castle bedroom. The illustrations are great, the writing lyrical with a sense of humor. We had to have read it 1,000 times last October.
