Hello my beautiful Book Owls

Review:

***Non Spoiler Section***

I’m going to start off by saying that Under Her is a short Contemporary Romance you can definitely finish it in one sitting. This book takes place in Chicago and is told in the POV of Wilder Cross and Morgan Stickford they alternate as the book goes on.

Morgan and Wilder know of each other from college 9 years back form when the book starts. The cool thing about this book is that Morgan’s chapters are told from college Morgan telling us why she didn’t like Wilder all that much during that period of time. And Wilder is telling the present and giving his side of the story.

Under Her focuses a lot on why we shouldn’t judge a person for who they seem to be instead of what they really are.

You guys are definitely going to enjoy this book. Go pick it up it’s a quick read & come back to read the Spoiler Section on my blog!

***End of Non Spoiler Section***

Read at Your Own Risk.

Under Her was good for the most part. I really liked the plot and the writing was amazing especially since Samantha Towel really captured the thoughts of a man. Under Her was obviously told in both perspectives, but in my opinion it was mostly Wilders POV. And Samantha really nailed what I would think the thoughts of a cocky super confident male are.

I really wish that Samantha would have been able to expand on their life. You don’t see them interact with their friends, family, neighbors I feel like if she would have we would see the characters in different light than we did with them just interacting with each other.

I really liked that Wilder changed so fast after meeting Morgan it definitely gave off an instalove feeling.

In the beginning Wilder was really confident almost to the point of cocky, but I did get over it because I liked the plot and the way that the story was going. I also feel like when the whole betray with the company happened and Morgans friend came over and told Wilder what she did it shouldn’t have affected him enough to forgiver her and make him believe Morgan. The evidence pointed in her direction and it didn’t leave room for argument. I felt like Samantha could’ve expanded that a bit more, but all in all I liked it. It was a quick read, it had moments where I loved every bit of it, and also moments that I didn’t. But then again everything has those moments.

I hope that you guys liked it. If I missed a part that you liked Comment down below and tell me what it was and what you thought of the book.
