review 1: I really enjoyed the previous books in the series, sadly I didn't wrinkly this one as much. While I can accept an ex cop spilling too much to a friend on occasion, I can't buy a lawyer giving out so much information to a client regarding a potential client, and being the one to offer the information in the first place. Some of the scenes seemed to be missing pieces as well. Disappointing as the author is obviously a talented writer.
review 2: This was one of the first cozy mystery series that I read and I've always enjoyed the books. I'm not sure what it is, but the characters in this one were a bit annoying. Maybe it's that Kelly spends a lot of time traveling and while she's traveling, she's talking on her phone. I'm not sure, but it seems she's not aware... more of how effective a bluetooth can be while driving. Also, her friends are way too interested in her sex life. Way too interested. I like books with sex as much as the next person, it's just strange that the friends are more invested in it than the people who may or may not ever do it again. less
