review 1: This book took me such a long time to get through. It just didn't grab me at all. There are some likeable characters in it but I just didn't find the pace of the book quick enough to make me want to keep me reading it. I was thinking as I got closer to the end, 'yes, at least i'll get a conclusion soon!' but to my dismay it said to be continued. I kind of want to know what happens but it seems there are 3 books in this series (which I didn't realise was a series!) and I'm not sure it's worth ploughing through the other two to get to a conclusion.
review 2: disjointed and lead.... nowhere really, other than setting the stage for a sequel. The problem with this is that you don't care enough amount the characters or story line to bother. This book contains my ... morepet hate CHARACTERS THAT TALK TO THEMSELVES, i hate it! its like the author has no other creative clever way of setting the mood or character depth. I was surprised that this one was a let down as i have read others by the Author and really enjoyed. less
