“Chime” is the first single from the english duo Orbital.
The track was released on December 1989 and quikly gained succes in the underground music world. This track is often associated to “Strings Of Life” by Derrick May, due to it’s happy mood and groove.
It is surely one of the band’s most known tracks, along with “Belfast” and “Halycon and On and On”, becoming a Rave anthem and a cult song in the undergrund scene.
The best thing about “Chime”, like most of Orbital’s songs, is that it is always played in live, so there’s always a little twist on it.
It is surely one of the ’90s best Rave & Underground Songs!
