review 1: The mystery in this book was okay. The set up was fine but the motives of the killer were pretty weak. It was almost more like a serial killer thing than a whodunit. The best part was the interesting characters working in the gallery and the makeover project for the gallery itself. I'm a sucker for cinderella stories (even if in this case the makeover is for a building). I'll probably read a few more in the series.
review 2: Katie Bonner inherts Artisians Alley when her husband Chad and his friend Ezra Hilton both die. Artisians Alley is located in the Victorian Square shopping center and other merchants are hoping that Katie's new blood can help the area thrive. Unfortunately people are murdered and Katie becomes a suspect. Katie suspects that the kille
... morer is someone she knows and has come in contact with. If only she can discover who this person is before she becomes the next victim.... Awesome book and is a recommended read for all you cozy lovers! less

Good cozy mystery. Always good to read the first since the suspect pool is wide open.

Too many poorly developed characters. Protagonist is not very likeable.
