What a fabulous romantic comedy to start your summer! This pregnancy put me out of the book world for a couple of months and I wasn’t keeping up with who was writing what. I knew that Staci was writing and I knew that I had to read it but that was all, lol. So when I began Bad Penny, I was thrilled to see we were taken back to Tonic, the iconic tattoo parlor where we first met Joel and Annika! Tonic was my first Staci Hart book, is a top three FAVORITE cover of mine and the idea that Staci might continue to take us there makes me giddy!
Bad Penny introduces us to none other than Penny who is a strong believer in the 3 date rule but when one night with Bodie blows her mind, she finds herself bending the rules she herself created and with good reason…Bodie, is every women’s fantasy in bed, on the couch, hell, the kitchen counter! As Penny struggles with the past, letting go and moving forward, Bodie is there being sexy and supportive. Until he is not.

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey.
From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
