Review:I had some mixed feelings about book one in this series, but I enjoyed this one so much more. Unlike book one I liked our main characters from the very beginning, Alex was a jerk when he was first with Madison but now that his career is over and now that he’s not in the constant spotlight things really fall into perspective for him. He realized that he wants a relationship with Madison and the acknowledges that when they were first together he didn’t treat her right and when he get’s a second chance with her, he does everything he can to make up for it. Also when it came to Madison I found that when it came to her trust issues they didn’t get on my nerves because I feel that over time she worked on overcoming them, even though it was hard at times.
Sadly one of my biggest issues that I had with book one was that there weren’t any breaks before the point of view switched between the two main characters. In the end of the book I liked that Madison didn’t doubt Alex in a situation where most would have, I feel like this really showed her development throughout the book. I wish that everything had worked out with Franny, but in a way I’m glad that it didn’t because I feel that it makes it more realistic, because in real life things don’t always work out fair.
After book one, I was hesitant continue book after giving this one a chance I’m very glad I was continued because this one I enjoyed so much more and now I’m excited to continue on in the series.
