Ms. Torre has once again delivered such a unique plot line, something that has become her signature touch. Mystified, you’ll be turning the pages and won’t be able to put it down. Hidden Seams is addictive with a hefty dose of sex appeal.
Avery found a special place in my heart from the very start. Adopted by a conservative couple who lived to maintain a perfect image, Avery finds herself rebelling against them to break away from the life she loathes. She longs to find her biological parents in hopes to find herself. I felt for her. For this massive hole she longed to fill. Armed only with a faded, old photograph of her biological father, she sets foot on a journey to find him. Who she finds instead is Marco Lent, a well known gay model turner designer but better known as the longtime gay partner of the famous Vince Horace.
What seems to be the perfect ploy turns into Marco’s greatest enemy. The lies make him hungry and from the moment he encounters Avery, he decides that she’d make for the perfect meal. One taste and his neatly sewn life quickly begins to unravel. The chemistry between Marco and Avery is hot! There’s this desperation and hunger that will set your thighs clenching, your blood pressure sky rocketing.
This was an absolute great read. One that will pose a huge problem if you have things to do and sleep to catch up on because I’ll tell you now. One hit and you’ll become an addict. Amazing job once again, Ms. Torre. You’ve got me hooked.
