If you’re looking for a badass heroine in the 18th century this is the book you’re looking for. A short but entertaining historical fiction slash fantasy that is perfect for readers who are still new to this genre or new to reading at all because the plot could be very predictable especially when a reader has read lots of books that is much similar to the concept. The writing is so easy to figure out and it makes me get into the character so smoothly.
My favorite part in the book is the adventures that finally happened when Verity discovered what she has been trying to figure out. The main character here is one of my favorite heroine because she’s smart, humorous, and wise. I can’t wait to read the sequel of this book.
