review 1: (Mar) This was short and sweet and a nice visit with the MacKinnon Brothers, as well as their wives and Joseph. Honestly, it's been a while since I've read these books and I only have vague memories of the characters and the story lines (didn't remember anything about William's capture and torture), but while this was nothing earth shattering, it was nice. I don't see any release date for the next in this series - seems like PC is concentrating on her contemporary RS books instead, which is fine with me. , who I hope gets his own story soon!). However, as soon as the next in this series comes out (Joseph? William?) I'll be grabbing it up to read.
review 2: Oh how I loved this book. I can't say enough about this series. I loved everyone of the books and this o
... morene was right up there with the others. It was so great to visit with the characters and I was so glad to see one of my favorite characters find his HEA. I have to say Ms. Clare that you made me cry at the end of the story. I hated Lord William for so much of the series until Defiant. Ugh...there is so much I want to say in this review but it would ruin it for readers. So if you've not read the MacKinnon's Rangers series then I highly recommend you do and start in the beginning so you can truly enjoy them. less
