Practical issues in producing network meta-analyses for HTAs

This two day workshop is offered by experienced reviewers from YHEC and statisticians from Quantics who have collaborated together on many network meta-analyses to inform HTA submissions and market access planning exercises. The workshop is intended to offer project managers, research commissioners and others new to these techniques an introduction to the practical issues involved in commissioning and performing NMAs. This training day does not involve coding with WinBUGS or other programming software.
Introduction to systematic reviews in health

SHTAC at the University of Southampton are able to provide an introductory over-view of all aspects of health economics and systematic reviewing in health. Courses are designed for health professionals, academics and decision makers with an understanding of health and related research.
Introduction to patient-reported outcomes (PROMs)

This one-day course will provide attendees with a background to PROMs and their use in the pharmaceutical and public sector with an overview on differences, as well as synergies. Further topics that will be covered are the instruments used to collect PROM data, including the development and validation of these instruments, the differences between disease and treatment specific PRO and generic instruments, electronic PROMs, and an overview of the key areas of interaction between PROMs, healthcare agencies, service provision and commissioning.
Introduction to systematic reviews: basic concepts and Cochrane tools workshop

The aim of the workshop is to facilitate participants in understanding how Cochrane reviews are structured and to show how to get involved in their preparation.The workshop is open to everyone, but it icould be particularly useful to people who have registered a title with a Cochrane review group as they can use draft protocols to provide direct feedback which is often also of general interest.
Systematic reviews in quantitative and/or qualitative evidence 2018 (SR2018) workshop

The KU Leuven Methodology of Educational Sciences Research Group and the Social Research Methodology Group organize a multi-disciplinary workshop designed to provide faculty, PhD, doctoral students, editors, reviewers and other researchers in the area of Educational, Behavioral, Social Welfare and Healthcare sciences with the fundamental background and skills required to conduct a systematic review of qualitative or quantitative evidence, evaluating the feasibility, appropriateness, meaningfulness of particular interventions or programs, inventorying the experiences of people involved in treatments, interventions, or therapies or exploring the lived experience of people having a particular disability, disease or living in difficult circumstances. The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Cochrane Qualitative Research and Implementation Methods Group.
Cochrane Learning Live Webinar: Summary of findings tables in network meta-analysis (NMA)
