review 1: if you are looking for a story with a nerdy heroine you are definitely on the right track with this book.Cassie is a scientist, who doesn't really do feelings till she meets Tuck. he is an ex-quaterback who had some real bad setbacks. both together are a lot of fun, although I was a bit taken aback about Cassies reaction to Tuck at the beginning.there was a lot of spark and humor, but it could have had a bit more chemistry.all in all the perfect book for a sunny day on the beach
review 2: Super logical scientist Cassie ends up hooking up with former football player Tuck because of a dare. She's sort of a female Sheldon Cooper, early seasons. Which means that it was often over the top, but not always. It got more settled as the book went on, and I really, really... more loved that the crisis was not the obvious/typical one, but one that absolutely made sense for these characters. Same scenario, character driven responses. Excellent. less
