We are moving right along smoothly as we celebrate Women’s History Month here on 365 Comics In 365 Days and for today we are going with a character that rolls like a G named Moon Girl with her very own dinosaur who happens to be a legend in Devil Dinosaur. You see she doesn’t know yet that fate is about to strike, but for Lunella Lafayette she’s not like your average kid. In fact, she is way too smart to be with kids her age and school is not enhancing her brain in any way. All she wants to do is win the prestigious Stark Award that is given to scientists, but like I said fate is about to strike. Lunella finds a glowing orb that is called a Nightstone, but when it starts to glow, her gym teacher takes it and plays with it, but it causes something to happen that is felt in a world that was so long ago that dinosaurs were around. I couldn’t be any more excited to continue reading a comic book like I am for this one and I’ll most certainly tell you why. Marvel was able to take something that I love dear in Dinosaurs and Tyrannosaurus Rex’s and put them into a comic book. Then you take that and you partner it up with a human in the modern world? Yes I am sold and I will be reading a lot more of this to be exact. The first issue of the comic could serve as an origin story of sorts for Lunella who we find out is an Inhuman, but more importantly you don’t know about the dynamics of Devil Dinosaurs other relationship back long ago. To do that, you just have to find issues of Devil Dinosaur to get that. It’s a very fun comic to own and the story is fun even though this could be targeted to teens as well. The artwork is very cool especially when we are in the modern times. The panels are easy to read and follow along with so you should definitely check it out. Here are my final grades:
