Dickies Blue Jeans Details

A series of close-up detail shots on a pair of blue jeans, it almost seems too obvious that this is all there is to these images. There is a bit of a back story though. This was a test shoot for a new lens and macro tube setup for my Hasselblad camera. I needed to get used to the combination for an upcoming job, and this was part of the testing we did for lighting and composition for a client. I know the backstory isn’t all that interesting, but it does add a little interest to the images!

The jeans look very comforting and touchable, enough that you think you know how they will feel if you could touch them. It’s quite the challenge to make a pair of jeans look soft and not stiff. The trick was to keep the billowing wrinkles, and not have them over starched and pressed. -YoPedro

This image is available on PIXELS or RedBubble as a print, or a whole slew of products, it boggles the mind. One of the greatest things about art these days is the ability to print it on so many different items. For an artist this is quite an exciting time, to know that buyers of art are willing to share artwork in such wonderful new ways.

If you would prefer a signed print, those are available too. -YoPedro
