My Thoughts: I thought that this was a great sequel! It didn’t suffer from the middle book syndrome which I was super happy about. I thought that Ruby had some growth as a character in this. I liked the test part of the story a lot. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Fire Queen. However, the story overall was fantastic. I can’t wait to see how things end in the next book.
