review 1: One of the best books I've read in years! Matthew Mathers takes a perfect storm of natural events and turns them into a suspense filled page turn. I literally could not put this book down. What if tomorrow you woke and everything had changed, who would you trust, how would you provide food and shelter for your family, how far would you go to protect the ones you love? We become more dependent on technology every day, this books shows you just how easy technology can be used to our demise.
review 2: Scared the heck out of me!! This was a page ripper--fast moving, well written, with great characters that I really liked. Story was well developed. This was the first doomsday book I have read, and probably the last. It just made me a little nervous wondering cou... moreld this story really happen here?? So even though it was well written,in a way I was relieved when I finished it. I think it cranked up my anxiety level a little too high. maybe I'm just a doomsday wimp!!! less
