Halloween 2017 Pt. 1: Lolita Style

As you all know, a lot of Halloween events were happening the weekend before. This year I even took on the task to help host and prepare Halloween events. One in particular being a Ghost Walk meet for my lolita community on Friday.

Cathedral of St. Paul where Father James Coyle was murdered in 1921

Preparing for the mile walk and possible rain I grabbed my flats and umbrella hoping for the best. With luck, the rain did not arrive until midnight but the wind was something else. Note to self: keep a coat in your car when the weather can become unpredictable. Overall, it was an exciting new experience of my local city and learning the haunting history of the once well known “Murder Capital of the World“.

Last year I had purchased a veil a day late in which it did not arrive on time to wear for the meet, I’m sure we have all been there. This year was my chance to recover and wear the veil that had been sitting around for a year. Yes, I am that bad.
Here is a break down of my full coordinate:  Main piece- Angelic Pretty Shadow Dream Carnival matched with a Floral Notebook black blouse. My accessories included off brand jewelry, Angelic Pretty Sister Veil, off brand tights and shoes.

Overall it was a whirlwind of a meet. From the planning to the day of but exciting to venture out into the dark night with my fellow frilly friends.

Thank you to all who helped made this halloween super spooky
