review 1: I thought this was a good continuation of the first book, Whistling in the Dark. I don't think I enjoyed it quite as much as the first, probably only because some of the originality is lost by nature of it being a sequel. It was still a fun read - a good mix of comedy and mystery. I do wish she would have developed the relationship between Sally and Dave more than she did - that was really my only disappointment.
review 2: Kagen's ability to step into the mind of a 9 year old is impeccable. ... morehe honesty in Sally as well as her maturity, selflessness, and how seriously she took her role as the big sister. This is a refreshing and captivating story. less

Too much of a rehash of Whistling in the Dark, which I loved. Didn't even finish it.
