IWSG – ANOTHER ABSENCE

Hello, bloggers. It is the first Wednesday of the month and we know what that means, right? Time for the Insecure Writers Support Group – #IWSG.

Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh , my hero and one of my mentors, founded this amazing and wonderful group.

The group’s purpose is to allow writers to share their doubts and fears, trials and tribulations without fear of being mocked or feeling foolish. It’s also a place where writers who have “been there” can offer wisdom and guidance.

Whenever anyone finishes a draft, edits their work, finds the perfect critique group, publishes their work, or has any other good news to share, this is the place to do it too!

The awesome co-hosts for the June 7 posting of the IWSG will be JH Moncrieff, Madeline Mora-Summonte, Jen Chandler, Megan Morgan, and Heather Gardner!   June 3 Question: Did you ever say “I quit”? If so, what happened to make you come back to writing?

There have been many times that I wanted to say ‘I quit’. I’m not talking about my writing; that I can answer on my other blog lilicasplace. Those that are close to me know when times are rough, like when the depression or pain hits hard, it’s easy to want to crawl back into my shell. But I don’t, most of the time. I keep in mind that ‘this to shall pass’ and move forward, even if it’s at a turtle’s pace. This is one of those times, which is why I’m keeping this month’s post short.

Though you may not see me posting much for a while, know that I appreciate each and every follower I have. Xoxoxo
