Ku-pau , Ku-kolu , Kane, Lono, and Mauli of January 2018

Ku-pau night # 6  1/22/18 22:06

Having fun with the powershot since it is just able to get decent shots of the moon.  Weather cleared up the last couple of days

From night #5  Ku-kolu on 1/21/18  Sunday night after getting home from the beach

nights 1,2,3,4 were not ago for pictures so we missed Hilo, Hoaka, Ku-kahi, Ku-lua

Very happy to have caught a rare Mauli sometime around 0645 on 1/15/18, Martin Luther Kind Day at dawn, just before sunrise.  There is a Mauli about every 60 days or two lunar cycles on the average.

The morning before, Lono

And the morning before,  Kane

Kane had two companions,  the planets, Mercury and Saturn in the hours before dawn.
