Llama Llama and the Bully Goat

By Anna Dewdney

There has been a lot of talk lately about of bullies lately. We read this book often to remind Annoying Little Brother and I how we should act.

In this story, the goat is mean at school. Llama Llama’s feelings get hurt. A teacher reminds them how to be a friend. Goat changes his behavior and acts like a friend, not a meany or a Bully Goat.

I like that the Goat becomes a friend and no longer a bully goat. I like that it talks about being a bully in ways kids can understand.

I think everyone should read it right now. Some grownups are acting like bullies and hurting other people’s feelings. Grownups should work on being a friend. Tomorrow, I am going to review Salina Yoon’s Be a Friend again because we need it.
