Shocked by the death of his foster father and the revelation that his real father is the demon Lord Satan, Rin Okumura enters the True Cross Academy to learn to be an exorcist. But every great exorcist has to start somewhere, and for the students of the academy the first step is the Exwire examination. To prepare for the exam, the new pages in Yukio’s class must undergo intensive training. Rin and his classmates have their hands full when a demon appears, but is this a test or something more sinister?

This will be a mini review because I’m not giving spoilers yet, but I will do a spoiler review in the next book, and kind going back with some details from the story.

Just like the last one, I loved it! I already know the story, because like I said before, I saw the anime. But I am really enjoying actually reading it.

This book has more action than the last one, we are able to know a bit better the characters, their flaws, their wishes, their beliefs, … It’s very easy to like the characters in this manga. Other than Rin, I’m really liking Shiemi and Suguro. They really surprised me in this book. I think they are amazing characters and I can’t wait to see what they will do next. I can never get bored with this series… And I would definitely see the anime again when I’m finished!

The manga is getting more and more dark and mysterious, and I really like that. I even wish for more! I love the world and how nicely it’s designed in the book. It’s incredibly detailed and just fantastic!

I am enjoying the plot a lot and I can’t wait to get the next book!
