I have followed the Ellie Avery series since I read the first one several years ago. I have always enjoyed them. This book is no difference. It is near the end of the school year at North Dawkins Elementary school. Ellie is volunteering at several end of school events when the body of one of the janitors is found in a wooded area. Ellie is reluctantly drawn into the investigation as by a friend, Gabrielle. The latter is afraid the murder will hurt her business. The twists and turns will keep you occupy as Ellie begins to uncover knowledge about the victim. She learns the victim keep to herself and like to find out secrets. Ellie must find an answer before she joins the victim. I recommend this book and series. Disclosure: I received a free copy Kensington Books through NetGalley for an honest review.I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.
